UW-Whitewater
Haley Ruehle from Shawano, who is studying art education at UW-Whitewater, has earned a roster spot on the Warhawk women’s bowling team for the 2024-25 season.
Last season, the team finished third in the National Tenpin Coaches Association Division 2/3 Final Season Poll and 20th among all NCAA programs.
Concordia University
Officials with Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon have released the spring honors list for the 2023-24 academic year. To be eligible for the honor, students must achieve a minimum 3.6 GPA and complete at least 12 undergraduate credits.
Among the students named to the list are:
Bonduel: Brittany Johnson, senior, director of church ministries, Bachelor of Arts; Reece Stoltenow, junior, business-accounting.
Bowler: Jessica Gardner, junior, early childhood and elementary.
Shawano: Rachel Reed, junior, special education/general education grades 1-8.
Sobieski: Katrina Erickson, senior, elementary education.
Bemidji State University
Isabel Majewski, originally from Sobieski, has graduated from Bemidji State University and was recognized during BSU’s spring 2024 commencement ceremony.
Majewski earned a bachelor of arts in psychology.
