As part of its Catholic Schools Week festivities, Sacred Heart Catholic School welcomed parents, grandparents, godparents, and special guests for its annual Lunch With Loved Ones celebration Jan. 29.

The event brought together students and their families for a day centered on faith, fellowship, and community — core values highlighted throughout Catholic Schools Week. Guests joined students for Mass before gathering for a shared lunch prepared by cafeteria staff. The cafeteria was filled with conversation, laughter, and the joy of families spending meaningful time together. The celebration continued with a lively round of candy bingo, where guests of all ages joined in the fun.

“We are incredibly grateful for the joy, support, and love our families bring to this event each year,” said Autumne Gee, director of admissions and development. “Catholic Schools Week is a time to celebrate the partnership between home, school, and parish, and today beautifully reflects that mission.”

Events like Lunch With Loved Ones strengthen the bond between families and the school community, embodying the spirit of Catholic Schools Week and the mission of Sacred Heart Catholic School, Gee said. She added that Sacred Heart looks forward to continuing this cherished tradition and celebrating the faith‑filled community that makes the school such a special place for students and families alike.
