Keshena school receives $15K grant from TC Energy

Keshena Primary School has been awarded a $15,000 grant from TC Energy’s social impact program, Build Strong. The grant will support the school’s social emotional learning (SEL) efforts for Menominee families and students. “We are so excited for the opportunity to bring more resources to the students and families of the Menominee Indian School District,” said Superintendent Wendell Waukau. “This funding will allow us to offer additional SEL programming, which is both popular and impactful with our families.” KPS regularly offers SEL Family Nights, an initiative that gives families and their students the opportunity to learn, grow and develop together while also addressing individual needs to build and maintain healthy relationships.
