Shawano Pathways has invited cyclists of all skill levels to experience the charm and natural beauty of the Town of Wescott during its annual scenic bike ride May 16.
This relaxed, community-focused event offers a great way to get outdoors, stay active and connect with fellow riders.
Participants can choose from three route options, ranging from about 8-19 miles, all following picturesque country roads throughout Wescott. Riders who complete the 19-mile route will be treated to a complimentary ice cream cone at Shawano Lake County Park.
Check-in and same-day sign-in will begin at 9:45 a.m. at the Mielke Arts Center parking lot, 5649 Airport Road, Shawano. Water, light snacks and restroom facilities are available on site.
Advance registration through Eventbrite is encouraged to help organizers plan for the event.
Donations are also appreciated and will support Shawano Pathways’ ongoing mission to enhance and promote local trails and green spaces, contributing to a healthier and more vibrant community.
For safety, all riders are encouraged to wear helmets and high-visibility clothing.
