Deer donation benefits food pantries, those in need

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources encourages hunters to donate Wisconsin-harvested deer through the DNR’s Deer Donation Program.

The program helps stock food pantries and supports residents in need throughout the state.

Sacred Heart holds first family night

Sacred Heart Catholic School hosted its inaugural family night Nov. 4, welcoming school families, students and staff for an evening of connection, creativity and community building.

The event marked a milestone in the school’s ongoing mission to foster strong partnerships between home and school.

UW-Whitewater

The following local students are among the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater scholarship recipients receiving financial awards for the 2025-26 academic year.

Oconto Falls: Isabella Heinke, who is studying accounting, won the Chancellor Scholars awards. Evan Yuma, who is studying finance, won the Karl E Fraedrich-Admissions award and Chancellor Scholars award.
