The sixth-seeded Storm was fierce as Bay Area shut out 11th-seeded Appleton United 12-0 in the opening round of WIAA boys hockey regional play.
Storm players are from several area schools, including Bay Port, Ashwaubenon, Pulaski, Seymour and Wrightstown. They improved to 10-12-1 with the playoff win.
Next up for the Storm is a Feb. 19 regional title match against No. 3 seed Notre Dame.
