Eugene R. Casper

Eugene R. “Geno” Casper, 69, of Shawano, died peacefully in his sleep at his Lehigh Acres home in Florida. Gene was born on May 19, 1950, in Chicago, son of the late Maurice and Bernice (Clark) Casper. Gene served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Gene met his wife, Sharon Cochrane, in Chicago. They moved to Shawano, where he built his own home.
Kenneth K. Hagen
Kenneth K. Hagen, 81, of Shawano, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Evergreen Health Care Center. He was born June 11, 1938, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to the late Edwin and Ruth (Linner) Hagen. Ken went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army; in addition, he went on to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve for seven years. On Feb. 22, 1957, Ken was united in marriage to Joyce Fahrendorff in Missouri.
Raymond Schmidt
Raymond “Ray” Schmidt, 95, of Split Rock, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020, at The Pines Post-Acute and Memory Care in Embarrass. Beil-Didier Funeral Home in Tigerton is assisting the family.

Mary Ellen Hanson
Mary Ellen Hanson, 71, of Gresham, passed away on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Mary was born on Sept. 24, 1948, in Oconto to the late Alvin and Violet (Peterson) Berns. On Aug. 4, 1973, Mary was united in marriage to Chester Hanson Jr. He preceded her in death on November 11, 1991. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where she received her Bachelor of Arts in education.
Norman Krueger
Our Lord and Savior took our beloved Norman Krueger to be in heaven with Him on March 4, 2020, at home surrounded by his loving family. Norman was born Nov. 3, 1940, to Edwin and Melda (Liebmann) Krueger. He was baptized and confirmed at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville and went to River Bank Grade School and graduated from Shawano High School in 1958.
William E. Gerhard
William E. “Bill” Gerhard, 69, of Shawano, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020. Bill was born Aug. 10, 1950, in Moscow, Idaho, to the late Lee and Dorothy (Regling) Gerhard. Bill graduated from Shawano High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. On June 12, 1981, Bill was united in marriage to Nancy Swope in Shawano.
