Donald Wanner, 89, of Mountain, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, at The Memory Care Cottages in Oconto Falls.

He was born May 4, 1936, in Mountain, the son of Phillip and Alice Wanner.

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Stadler Meyer, 84, of Shawano, announces that he has passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at Unity Hospice Facility in De Pere surrounded by family.

Melvin Gubbels

Melvin Gubbels, 92, Oconto, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2025, at Care Partners Assisted Living.

He was born May 21, 1933, in Randolph, Nebraska, to Mathias and Sophia (Scharff) Gubbels. Mel grew up in Randolph where he graduated from high school. On Sept. 16, 1957, he married Althea Bruns in Constance, Nebraska.

Brian Pagel

Brian James “Turk” Pagel, 60, passed away Nov. 2, 2025, in Fairland, Oklahoma.

Born on Dec. 4, 1964, in Lena, Brian lived a life marked by quiet strength, generosity and a deep love for both people and animals.

David L. Gerndt

David L. Gerndt, 81, of Suring, passed away Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, with his wife by his side.

Dave was born Feb. 3, 1944, to the late Leslie Gerndt and Helen (Lemke Gerndt) Trever. Dave married Mary Williamsen on Aug. 26, 1978, in Kaukauna, after meeting at Nu-Line Industries.

The couple farmed together with family until the early 2000s. Dave then worked at KI Manufacturing in Bonduel as a foreman until retirement.

Conrad E. Schmid

Conrad E. Schmid, 96, of De Pere, formerly of Rudolph, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at the Rennes Health and Rehabilitation Center in De Pere.

Conrad was born June 12, 1929, in Milwaukee as the son of the late Edmund and Margaret (Woiak) Schmid. He grew up in Milwaukee where he graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948.
