Shary L. Johnson

Shary L. Johnson, age 71 of Suring, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023. Shary was born on Oct. 7, 1951, to the late Lee and Ruth (Jansen) Schuettpelz. She attended St. John Lutheran School and graduated from Suring High School. After graduation, Shary attended cosmetology school and became a beautician. For over 20 years, Shary worked at The Cutting Edge in Gillett. Shary married Robert Johnson on Feb. 10, 1999, in Las Vegas.

Robert “Bob” L. Fischer, age 72 of Marion, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Marion, is assisting the Fischer family with arrangements.

Rick A. Hanson
Rick A. Hanson, 67, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. He was born on July 6, 1955, in Neenah, the son of Merlyn and Donna (Houser) Hanson. Rick dedicated his entire career to the Wisconsin Tissue Mill, which spanned over 40 years. He loved working and being productive. Rick had the gift of many lifelong friendships, along with a passion for tinkering on muscle cars (as long as it was a Ford) with his buddies.
Lawrence A. Peters
Lawrence A. Peters, 79, of Abrams, passed away after a short illness on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center in Green Bay. Lawrence was born June 21, 1944, in Green Bay to the late Arnold and Marguerite (Dahlin) Peters. He married the love of his life, Nancy Robertson, on June 9, 1973. Larry farmed with his parents until he was 28 years old.

Allen William Strei, of Omro, was born in Shawano on Nov. 23, 1938.
Gary E. Frank
Gary E. Frank, 80, Gillett, died Tuesday evening, July 4, 2023, at the Meng Residence Hospice Center in DePere. He was born July 9, 1942, in Clintonville to Elmer and Marge (Carson) Frank. Gary grew up with his many siblings in Wisconsin and the UP. On October 8, 1966, he married Joyce Houska in Michigan. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Green Bay, Pulaski and Suring before retiring to Gillett in 2004.
