Donald “Don” A. Nordwig

Donald “Don” A. Nordwig, age 86, of Clintonville, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Donald Arthur Nordwig was born Sept. 22, 1935, in Mattoon as the son of the late Arthur and Dulice (Kopelke) Nordwig. He grew up in the Shawano area and at the young age of 16 started driving truck for a local cheese factory.

Gerald “Jerry” Floyd Heins, 77, resident of High Point, North Carolina, died May 4, 2022. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 6, at St. Michael Lutheran Church in High Point. Janice “Jan” Braham, 82, Gillett, a gem of a person, who saw the magic in all things, died Sunday morning, February 27, 2022. Graveside services will be held at noon Saturday, May 28, 2022, at St. Anthony Cemetery in Oconto Falls with Pastor Mark Kostreva officiating. Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls is serving the family.
John Tait
John Tait, 78, Sheboygan, died Friday morning, April 30, 2022, following an acute kidney illness and brief stay at Sharon Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. John’s family is grateful to their dedicated hospice staff to allow his wife, Barb, and seven children to move in for the week so they could be together during the final week of his life. He was one of five children, born March 29, 1944, in Oconto Falls to Thomas C.
Debra Singer-Hanson
Debra Singer-Hanson, 68, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away April 29, 2022, in Austin, Texas. She died of a very rare cancer called chondrosarcoma. Debra was the beloved wife of Charles “Chuck” W. Hanson, also of Kansas City. They spent the past 24 years together and married in Cortona, Italy, on April 22, 2006. Deb always shared that their life together was a treasure. Debra was the third of five children of Edward and Faye Singer, of Shawano.

Jerry A. Grosskopf
Jerry A. Grosskopf, 60, of Bowler, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, in Madison. Jerry was born in Shawano on Jan. 6, 1962, son of the late Harvey and Rita (Greskoviak) Grosskopf. He graduated from Bowler High School and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in dairy science from the School of Agriculture.
