Roger M. Schmidt

Roger M. Schmidt, 86, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 2, 2022. Although his soul left us, his stories will go on. He grew up farming in Kewaskum, went on to construction and later retired to Shawano where he was able to pursue his favorite pastime — winning on the poker machines.

Barbara A. Zera, age 73, of the Town of Matteson, Waupaca County, passed away Sept. 2, 2022, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Appleton. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting the family.
Todd Daniel Christensen
Todd Daniel Christensen, age 60, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, in Appleton, following a courageous battle with Huntington’s Disease for many years. Todd was born in Oconto Falls on Jan. 31, 1962, to Delores (Gilbertson) Christensen and the late Vernon Christensen. Todd grew up in Pulcifer and graduated from Gillett High School in 1981 where he excelled at wrestling.
Irene J. Beyer
Irene Josephine Beyer, 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, in Shawano. Irene was born in Chicago on July 22, 1937, to the late Andrew and Frances (Wojniak) Koziol. On Jan. 7, 1961, Irene was united in marriage to Gordon C. Beyer at Northlake Methodist Church in Illinois. Irene worked as a credit division manager at Wilson Sporting Goods where she met Gordon.
Edgar A. Jaeger
Edgar A. Jaeger, age 90, of Mountain, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022. Edgar was born Feb. 23, 1932, in the Town of Washington to the late Henry and Dora (Runge) Jaeger. He graduated from Gillett High School with the Class of 1949. After graduation, Edgar worked on the family farm. He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. In 1959, Edgar married Alice Buhrandt, and the couple moved to Milwaukee.
