It was another win and another shutout for the Bay Area Ice Bears girls hockey team when they defeated the Fox Cities Stars 4-0.
The Ice Bears are now 13-0 overall and 6-0 in the Eastern Shores Conference. The Stars are 6-4 overall and 1-4 in the conference.
Addison Dahl started the scoring with an unassisted goal at 2:05 in the first period. Ava McDonald had her own unassisted goal at 4:49.
In the second period, Elliana Memken scored at 16:52 with Aisling Buchan and McDonald assisting.
And in the third period, Memken scored again at 16:30 with help from Faye Brunke and McDonald.
Ice Bears goalie Reese Spiering notched 24 saves against 24 shots on goal, while Stars goalie Addison Grasse had 17 saves against 21 shots on goal.
Each team was penalized three times for six minutes.
