Welcoming a child into the world is a life-changing experience that presents different challenges and questions for all parents.
Dr. Shilpa Ullikashi, pediatrician at Prevea St. Mary’s Health Center in Green Bay, will host a Zoom presentation at 6 p.m. April 26 to share parenting tips and what to expect in the first several months of a baby’s life.
Topics presented will include newborn characteristics and skin conditions; medications, taking baby’s temperature and when to call the doctor; swaddling; skin-to-skin; feeding baby — patterns, how much, etc.; sleeping; what your baby’s cries mean; cleaning baby; crawling, walking and other milestones; and the importance of play
