Nancy C. Leonard, 81, Pulaski, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, at Country Villa Assisted Living in Pulaski. The daughter of Klerus “Nick” and Dorothy (Krause) Uelmen was born Jan. 25, 1944, in Shawano.
Nancy was a graduate of Bonduel High School. On Sept. 18, 1965, she married Dennis Leonard at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel. Nancy had worked as a clerk for many years at Pick ‘n Save and for several years as a hostess at Marc’s Big Boy.
In her early years, she enjoyed bowling. Nancy was an avid Packers fan and enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. She was a hard worker and was always willing to lend a hand. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was always the life of the party.
Survivors include her son, Mike (Ashley) Leonard, Appleton, and their sons, Everett, Pierce and Brooks; her special nieces, Cindy Graf, Pulaski, and her daughters, Carrie (John) Schneider and Lisa (Matt) LaMay, and Jodi (Kelly) Cramer, Pulaski, and their sons, Brandon (Courtney) Maciejewski and Brad (Courtney) Cramer; and a brother-in-law, Robert Treptow.
In addition to her husband, Dennis, and parents, Nick and Dorothy, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Treptow; and her brother, Wayne Uelmen.
A private family funeral service will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pulaski. Burial will take place in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Bonduel.
The family would like to thank the Moments Hospice Team, especially nurse Jolene, and also the staff at Country Villa Assisted Living for the outstanding care given to Nancy.
