Lena 57, Gillett 45
Lena captured its second Marinette & Oconto Conference win of the season when the Wildcats beat Gillett 57-45.
But, Gillett remains above Lena in the standings, having lost eight games compared to Lena’s nine.
Dash Comins led Lena with 17 points. Luke Koslowsky scored 15.
Gillett was led by Jedric Herzog with 14 points and Brady Wendorff with 13.
Gillett is 2-8 in the M&O and 2-15 overall. Lena is 2-9 in the conference and 5-12 overall.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 63, Amherst 60
The final score was closer than what the Chargers wanted, but they still escaped with a 63-60 CWC-East win over Amherst.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood advanced its conference mark to 8-1 and moved to 15-3 overall.
