New London’s Tanner Jahnke started and ended first in the IMCA modifieds feature race Aug. 15 at the Shawano Speedway.
He topped Wausau’s Marcus Yarie, who started eighth and finished second, and Shawano’s Jordan Bartz, who started sixth and placed third.
Jahnke also won the first heat, and Shawano’s Trent Nolan won the second heat.
In the IMCA sport compact feature, Clintonville’s Tanner Westphal started fifth and won the 12-lap race.
He defeated fellow Clintonville drivers Brandon Schirpke, who started and finished second, and Brad Wedde, who started fourth and placed third.
Clintonville’s Calvin Stueck won the first heat race, and Seymour’s Bo White captured the checkered flag in the second heat.
Cole Magnin, of Oconto Falls, won the IMCA sport modifieds feature. He moved up one spot after starting in the second position.
Seymour’s Tim Jorgenson started firth and finished second, and Shawano’s A.J. Springborn started sixth and placed third.
Springborn won the only heat race.
In the IMCA stock cars feature, it was Nolan winning after starting in eighth. Gillett’s Travis Welch started and finished second, and Clintonville’s Jeremie Hedrick started fourth and place third.
Welch won the first heat, and Pulaski’s Riley Magee won the second heat.
Bartz leads the modified points race with 489, just eight points ahead of Shawano’s Jeffery Teske.
Wedde leads the sport compact points race with 452, five points ahead of Westphal.
In the sport modifieds, it’s Magnin leading with 480 points, topping Tigerton Forrest Kernen by 22.
Mark Eswein, of Wisconsin Rapids, leads the points race in the stock car division with 469. Oconto Falls’ Kyle Frederick is next with 461.
Racing gets underway at 6 p.m. Aug. 22 and Aug. 29, with the season finale set for Sept. 5.
