Charlotte Ruth Lewis, 84, passed away peacefully March 2, 2026, in Oconto Falls.
She was born Jan. 31, 1942, in Detroit to the late Kleber and Eva Jane (Frye) Andre. On July 30, 1959, Charlotte married the love of her life, Harold Lewis, in Milwaukee. He later preceded her in death March 7, 2024.
Charlotte was kind and creative. She loved to daydream, sing and dance. She was a selfless woman and always took to the time to help others. In her free time, Charlotte enjoyed drawing and especially using her pastels. She will be deeply missed.
Charlotte is survived by her children, Sally Lewis, of Milwaukee, Jeff Lewis, of Milwaukee, Timothy Lewis, of Oshkosh, Tammy Lewis, of Oconto Falls, Patrick Lewis, of Oconto Falls, and Betty (Shane) Stange; her grandchildren, Dana (Dan) Lundgren and Hayden Stange; her great- grandchildren; Mia and Evelyn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; her parents, Kleber and Eva; her brothers, Andy Benjamin “Benny” and Charles.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 21, 2026, at United Methodist Church in Oconto Falls with Pastor Shadrach Muhima officiating.
