Bonduel boys sit atop conference after beating W-B

Bonduel 67, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 37

Quinn Wesenberg scored 19 points and Ryan Westrich had 18 as Bonduel’s boys basketball team rolled over Wittenberg-Birnamwood 67-37.

Griffin Uelmen chipped in nine points for Bonduel.

The Bears led 35-12 at halftime and posted a 32-25 second half score.

Zandyr Barke led the Chargers with 12 points. Milo Salvesen scored six points, and Tommy Gagnon knocked down five.

Bonduel improved to 7-0 on the season and leads the CWC-East at 5-0. Wittenberg-Birnamwood is 7-2 overall and is in second place in the conference at 4-1.

Pulaski 69, Green Bay Southwest 42

Bohdan Schmidt led the Red Raiders with 20 points as Pulaski downed Green Bay Southwest 69-42.

Noah Mijal added another 11 for Pulaski, and Eli Brancefield scored seven.

Brancefield led his teammates with seven rebounds, while Benjamin Shaw and Eli Heuser each had five.

Schmidt contributed with three assists, and Mijal and Brancefield each dished out one.

Menasha 74, Shawano 40

The Hawks fell to 1-4 in the Bay Conference and 4-6 overall with a 74-40 loss to Menasha.

The BlueJays improved to 3-7 overall and 3-3 in conference play.

Monday, Jan. 5

Port Edwards 58, Marion 54

The Blackhawks defeated the Mustangs 58-54 in a nonconference game.

Marion fell to 4-6 overall.
