All Tigerton girls get a hit in come-from-behind win

Tigerton 9, Northland Lutheran 7

Tigerton scored four runs in the fifth inning to tie Northland Lutheran 7-7 before adding one run in each of the sixth and seventh innings to win 9-7.

Each of the nine Tigers’ players had a hit in the game — Danika Tiller, Emily Rich, Hailey Erdmann, Renata Nordwig, Lillian Welch, Jaelyn Brady, Aaliyah Lederhaus, Myah Dent and Mya Smith.

Nordwig, Welch and Brady each connected for doubles, and Dent hit a triple.

Tiller pitched all seven innings for the win. She allowed seven runs on six hits, walked four and struck out 12.

Almond-Bancroft 10, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 5

A six-run third inning propelled the Eagles to a 10-5 win over the Chargers.

Brie Ladika and Jayda Moenke each hit 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Kennedy Benbo was 2-for-3.

Alexis Traut hit a double.

Kendall Lex took the loss on the mound. In three innings, she gave up eight runs on eight hits.

Freedom 19, Oconto Falls 10

Delaney McNichols led the Panthers by hitting 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two doubles in Oconto Falls’ 19-10 loss to Freedom.

Izzy Otto hit 2-for-4 and scored three times. Katelyn Kurek connected for a double.

Kurek was the losing pitcher. In 4 1/3 innings, she gave up 11 runs on 12 hits, walked two and struck out two.

Notre Dame 4, Pulaski 3

Notre Dame scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to come from behind and beat Pulaski 4-3.

Kamrie Dorn hit 1-for-3 with a pair of RBIs. She was also the losing pitcher.

Shawano 3, Xavier 2

Ayanna O’Kimosh hit 2-for-3 with a run scored, and Jacey Cowden hit 2-for-4 with a run scored as Shawano defeated Xavier 3-2.

Kadence Meyers was the winning pitcher. In seven innings, she gave up two runs on seven hits, walked five and struck out five.
