Goalie Kyler Shepherd collected 24 saves in Shawano’s 4-0 loss to Fox Valley Lutheran.
The JV Black team lost 7-0. They held the Foxes off the last 30 minutes to keep the game from ending early.
Pulaski 1, Oshkosh North 0
The Red Raiders shut out the Spartans 1-0 in a nonconference matchup.
Pulaski got the goal in the 12th minute when Max Mondloch found his brother, Miles, open near the goal, and Miles slotted it low past the goalie.
The Red Raiders’ defense protected the one-goal lead for the remaining 68 minutes to hang on for the win.
Obama Etudiani made six saves in goal for the Spartans (1-5). Blake Bazter had 11 saves in a shutout effort for Pulaski (5-0-2).
Tuesday, Sept. 8
Shawano 9, Green Bay West 0
Shawano celebrated senior night with a 9-0 shutout of the Wildcats.
Seniors Teagon Gerrits, Brayden Mead, Grayson Swedberg, Dawson Aguilar, Cambren Zeuske, Santana Peralta, Wyatt Schroeder, Maverick Theis, Briley Brown and Izzy Martens were recognized.
Swedberg scored at 3:44 in the game and then scored three more times in the first 10 minutes. Matteo Hernandez headed the ball for a goal, and Josiah Golie also scored a goal in the first half.
Swedberg made two more goals in the second half. Mead made a goal at 52:48, which brought the game to an end in one hour.
For the JV Red team, Jadavian Hudson scored with an assist by Kobe Bistoff with a pass through for their only goal. The Wildcats won 3-1.
Pulaski 3, Providence Academy 0
In a battle of unbeaten teams, the Red Raiders notched a 3-0 victory over the Paladins of Providence Academy.
Max Mondloch broke the first-half deadlock with a Pulaski goal in the 35th minute. In the second half, the Red Raiders added to their lead with goals by Miles Mondloch in the 45th minute and Jack Van Haren in the 55th minute. Walker Wozniak assisted on Van Haren’s goal.
Reuban Sauder made 11 saves in goal for Providence Academy (3-1). Blake Bazter had three saves in a shutout effort for Pulaski (4-0-2).
