Second grade students, from left, front row, Aliyah Redmerski, Ava Carroll, Rylea Cumberland, Olivia Kast, Nakoma Daugherty and Elijiah Radek; back row, Joseph McDougal, Wyatt Zoellner, Alfred Gueths, Elli Farley, McCoy Miller and Abel Mathwich; under the guidance of art teacher Sue Simeons, students crafted beautifully designed Sacred Hearts recently. As part of the lesson, the Rev. Edward Looney shared the story and symbolism of the Sacred Heart of Jesus — an image that reflects Christ’s love, compassion, and mercy. This devotion holds special meaning for the school community, where the Sacred Heart serves as a daily reminder of the faith, love, and service that guide its mission.
