Northwoods Quilters Club of the tri-county area will have its monthly meeting on March 13 at Pioneer Presbyterian Church, 1947 Riverside Ave., Marinette. It is an all-day quilting retreat from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Bring your own projects or plan to work on charity quilts or just socialize. There will also be a quilt show meeting right after the business meeting. Bring your own bag lunch.
Remember to bring any sewing-related items you no longer want for the free table. Members can help themselves with all leftovers going to Attic Treasures at our 2024 quilt show. After March 13, our bus trip to the Appleton area on May 10 will be open to the public. Anyone club members wishing to sign up should pay their $15 at this meeting. Non-members are $30.
Northwoods Quilters is open to new members. We welcome all levels of experience. The club alternates morning and evening meetings to accommodate those with daytime jobs. Come join us, even if you don’t quilt but want to learn, and make some new friends.
