Northwoods Quilters’ Club of the tri-county area had its monthly meeting on April 10 at 6 p.m. at Pioneer Presbyterian Church, 1947 Riverside Ave., Marinette. Carol Bader presented a trunk show on historical reproduction quilts.
Our next meeting on May 8, 9:30 a.m., will be a business meeting followed by Show and Share only because our Shop Hop bus trip will be May 10 with pickups in Marinette at Jack’s on Roosevelt, 6:45 a.m.; behind Peshtigo Pharmacy, 7:05 a.m. and Oconto, River City Diner parking lot 7:15 a.m. Return is approximately 5:30-6 p.m. Don’t forget about our nautical challenge along with place mat, receiving blanket, pillow case, quilt show bags and doll quilt charity projects.
Northwoods Quilters is open to new members. We welcome members of all skill levels. The club alternates morning and evening meetings to accommodate those with daytime jobs. Come join us, even if you don’t quilt but want to learn, and make some new friends.
