Tigerton traveled to CWC North foe Gresham for a tough battle on the court, losing 3-0.
“The scores of the sets did not resemble how closely fought these sets were overall,” said coach Holly Meverden. “Gresham has many weapons this season, and my congratulations go out to them.”
Set scores were 25-20, 25-16 and 25-18.
Stat leaders for the Tigers were:

Block kills: Presley Stewart-Rolfs 6.

Tigerton dropped to 2-1 in conference play and 5-2 overall.

The Pirates beat the Red Raiders in three straight games — 25-17, 25-13, 25-13.
Marion 3, White Lake 0
Marion traveled to White Lake and returned with a 3-0 win with game scores of 25-22, 25-14, 25-23.
Northland Lutheran 3, Bowler 2
The Northland Lutheran Wildcats edged the host Bowler Panthers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in conference action.
The Wildcats won the first game 28-26, with the Panthers winning the next two games 25-19 and 25-14. Northland Lutheran tied the series at 2-2 with another squeaker, this time 27-25. The fifth and final game went to the Northland Lutheran, 15-6.

Tigerton 3, White Lake 0
The Tigers played host in a CWC North match against White Lake and came out with a “riddled with errors” 3-0 win with set scores of 25-23, 25-19 and 25-18.
“We didn’t play our best ball tonight, and luckily neither did our opponent,” coach Holly Meverden said. “We had many unforced errors and didn’t receive the served ball well, either. I am proud that the girls rallied and did what they had to do to come out with the win, though.”

The host Gresham Wildcats topped the visiting Northland Lutheran Wildcats in three games by scores of 25-14, 25-13, 25-8.

The Mustangs were victorious over the Panthers 25-16, 25-14, 25-15.
