Bears get shut out in softball sectional final

June 4 Manawa 3, Bonduel 0 In a game delayed a day due to rain, Bonduel’s softball team was shut out 3-0 by Manawa in the Division 3 sectional final. Manawa earned a trip to state with the win. The Bears finished the season in second place in the CWC East with an 11-3 record, a game behind Manawa at 12-2. Overall, Bonduel was 19-9 in the 2025 season. Leading the Bears this year was Lizzie Delzer with a .500 batting average, followed by Emery Thompson with a .440 average. Jayla Reinke notched 25 RBIs, and Tatum Sporisky had 22. Thompson led on the mound with 10 wins, and Kallie Wilcox tallied eight.
