Robert J. Wranosky Sr.

CHINA VILLAGE — On Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, Robert (Bob) J. Wranosky Sr. passed away in his home in China Village, Maine, surrounded by his family, at the age of 82 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Oconto Falls on Feb. 4, 1937, to John and Joan “Eunice” Wranosky. He graduated Oconto Falls High School in 1955 and began working at Scott Paper Company. He served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1961.

Jerome Edward Muck

Jerome “Jerry” Edward Muck, 78, of Bonduel, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019, at Appleton Medical Center with his wife of 53 years, Sandra, by his side. Jerry very privately fought a 2½-year courageous battle with pancreatic and liver cancer using conventional and integrative medicine. Jerry was born on March 25, 1941, in Merrill, to the late Edward and Esther (Marquardt) Muck. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Merrill. He graduated from Merrill High School in 1959.

Mary H. Treptow

Mary Helen Nottleman Treptow (née Gottschalk) was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019. She succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 75.

Cremation and interment will be at Fort Howard Memorial Park Cemetery, 1350 N. Military Ave., Green Bay. A memorial service to offer respect for the life of Mary will be Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019, at 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 2 p.m. in the Malcore Funeral Home East, 701 N. Baird St., Green Bay.

Harold V. Klund

Harold V. Klund, 93, of Gresham, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019, at Evergreen Care Center in Shawano.

Harold Vernon Klund was born Aug. 16, 1926, in the town of Morris, Shawano County, to Glen and Bertha (Erickson) Klund. He entered the U.S. Army and served over in Korea from 1952 to 1954. After the military, Harold returned home to the family dairy farm in the town of Morris to continue working with his parents and his brother, Arnold.

Bernice J. Christiansen

Bernice Joyce Christiansen, 91, of Cecil, was reunited with her husband, Orville, on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019. Bernice was born on Jan. 12, 1928, in Kelly Lake to the late Samuel and Mary (Miller) Brazeau. She graduated from Gillett High School and was a lifetime resident of that area.

Willard H. Bohm

Willard H. Bohm, 98, of Shawano, passed away on Thursday morning, Nov. 7, 2019, at his home in Shawano.

Willard was born Sept. 28, 1921, in the town of Green Valley, Shawano County, a son of the late William and Martha (Brodhagen) Bohm. He attended country schools, then was employed at Farmers Brewery as a truck driver.

On Aug. 7, 1942, Willard entered the United States Army, and was stationed in Normandy, Northern France, the Ardennes, the Rhineland, and Central Europe. He served with the engineer division. Willard was honorably discharged on Nov. 25, 1945.

Norman Darling

Norman “Si” Silas Darling, 89, of Gresham, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 9, 2019, at his home. Norman was born on Nov. 27, 1929, in Pulcifer, to the late Silas and Ester (Hansen) Darling.

He graduated from Shawano High School in 1948. After high school, he served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Norman was united in marriage to Barbara Zoglman on June 14, 1969, in the town of Red Springs. He worked for the Little Rapids Paper Mill for nearly 35 years until his retirement.

Melvin ‘Shorty’ Benjamin Weisnicht

Melvin B. “Shorty” Weisnicht, 88, of Shawano. Melvin’s earthly journey ended Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019, at Atrium Post Acute Care of Shawano at Maple Lane. He was born May 20, 1931, to the late Benjamin and Margaret (Drier) Weisnicht.

Melvin was united in marriage to Verna Schultz on Sept. 15, 1951, in Shawano, and they were married for 68 years. Melvin worked on a farm for Klement, Jake Lighthart, Consolidated Badger Cooperative and Shawano Auto Sales. Also, he and the love of his life owned and operated their own farm in the town of Belle Plaine.

Sally A. Knope

Sally Ann Kersten Knope passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019. She was born at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton, on July 24, 1950, to Edward and Joyce (Boardman) Kersten. She graduated from Appleton High School East in 1968 and City College of Cosmetology in Appleton in 1969. She also attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay.

Sally married Terry Knope on May 16, 1970, at First Congregational Church in Appleton.

Marion G. Resch

Marion Gertrude (Jozwiak) Resch went home to her heavenly Father on Oct. 24, 2019, at Pride TLC, under the comfort care of Ministry Hospice, with family and loved ones by her side.

She was born July 26, 1937, in Hatley to the late John Sr. and Gertrude (Pestka) Jozwiak. She graduated from Birnamwood High School in 1955. Marion married her soul mate, Jerome “Jiggs” Resch, on Jan. 19, 1957, in Hatley. He preceded her in death July 26, 2019.
