Harlan Anton Fedders, 84, of Legend Lake, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2020 in Shawano. Harlan was born on April 6, 1935, in Racine, to the late Anton and Ethel (Ankersen) Fedders.

Lorraine A. Turman, 93, passed away peacefully Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at Heritage Senior Living in Middleton. Lorraine was born to the late Frank and Susie (Ainsworth) Opperman on July 20, 1926, in Shawano. Her early years were spent living on the farm with her brothers and sisters. In 1939, she moved to town to live and work for the family who owned the Shawano newspaper.

Keith J. Evrard

Keith Joseph Evrard, 87, of Lena, passed away on Jan. 14, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born to the late Orville and Clara (DeJardin) Evrard on Jan. 18, 1932. He proudly served in the Army in the Korean War. Keith married Marjorie Aubut on July 7, 1956, at St. Peters in Oconto. The couple farmed together for 37 years. They enjoyed camping in Arizona for 19 years. He enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards, fishing and he enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of Lena American Legion Post 342 and a member of St. Patrick’s Church in Stiles.

Agnes M. Wolfe

On Jan. 8, 2020, Agnes Mary (Ricken) Wolfe left this earth to join her heavenly family. She was born in Exeland on Oct. 31, 1922, to the late Henry and Grace (McMullen) Ricken. She married Robert ‘Buster’ Wolfe on May 7, 1941, and they lived first in Springbrook, a short time in California then Brookfield before settling in Gillett in 1963. Agnes and Bob raised 12 children and farmed for many years. She also alternately worked part-time as a gift wrapper at Gimbels, a factory worker in Milwaukee and for many years a bus driver for the Gillett School District.

Alex Herbert Beyer

Alex “Herbie” Herbert Beyer, 78, of New London, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2019, at his residence. He was born Nov. 28, 1941, to the late Edmund Sr. and Agnes (Vernosh) Beyer. Alex was baptized and had his First Communion at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spruce. He attended school at Spruce Grade School and graduated from Lena High School. Alex was united in marriage to Judy Arndt on Feb. 14, 1984, in Appleton. She preceded him in death in 2012. He formerly worked at area dairy farms and also for Stokely VanCamp Canning Factory in Appleton.

Mary A. Blakewell, 66, of Wittenberg, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020, at Marshfield Medical Center.

She was born June 2, 1953, in Wausau, the daughter of the late Roger Schmidt and Anita (Luechau Schmidt) Wruck, of Wittenberg.

Our beloved mother, Josephine “Jo” May Crnkovich Pietz, 92, died at home Jan. 7, 2020, after gracefully enduring Alzheimer’s disease for 20 years. Jo was born Nov. 25, 1927, in Karney, Iowa, the daughter of Anton and Ann (Verbonac) Crnkovich. She was raised in Mohawk, Michigan, and graduated from Calumet High.

John W. Seefeldt

John W. Seefeldt, 81, of Minocqua, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at his home under the care of his family and Dr. Kate Hospice.

He was born March 20, 1938, in Wittenberg, the son of the late Oscar and Phyllis (Young) Seefeldt.

On April 1, 1956, John was united in marriage to Pat Wieland. She survives.

William John Rebholz, 72, of Griffin, passed away Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 at Select Medical Midtown Hospital. Mr. Rebholz was born in Big Bend on Sept. 19, 1947.
