Wayne H. Dansereau

Wayne Harold Dansereau, 70, Oconto Falls, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2020.

Wayne was born on June 24, 1949, in Ware, Massachusetts, to the late Harold and Ann (Luscomb) Dansereau. Wayne was a hard-working and dedicated employee, and he showed it, of Saputo Cheese Inc. and considered them as a second family. Wayne was a brine room attendant and his room was spotless. He began working there on Aug. 25, 1979, and retired on Aug. 4, 2015.

Scott C. Downs

Scott C. Downs, 57, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2020, surrounded by his wife and sons in Milwaukee after an unexpected battle with heart failure. Scott was born April 13, 1963, to Mary Margaret Downs in Washington, D.C., and was raised by his maternal grandparents, Jim and Esther Wells, in Fond du Lac.

Wallace Raymond ‘Wally’ Zernicke

Wallace Raymond Zernicke (Wally), 85, Cecil, passed away peacefully at home on April 18, 2020. He was born Jan. 14, 1935, in Shawano. He was the son of Raymond and Evelyn (Genke) Zernicke.

Wally attended grade school at St. Paul Lutheran and graduated from Bonduel High School in 1953. Wally was very active in high school, acting as class president, FFA member, lettering 12 times in sports and being named All-State in football and track. In 2009, Wally was named to the Bonduel Sports Hall of Fame.

John J. Kadletz

John J. Kadletz, 80, of Shawano, passed away at his home Sunday, April 19, 2020. John was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Shawano to the late Alfred and Josephine (Wilson) Kadletz. He attended Shawano High School and graduated with the class of 1959.

John went on to further his education by attending Northwestern Technical College. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. On July 24, 1965, John was united in marriage to Betty Kriescher at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He owned and operated Shawano Convalescent Center for several years.

David H. Denzin

David H. Denzin, 59, of the Cloverleaf Lakes in the town of Belle Plaine, Shawano County, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020, at the ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.

The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory of Clintonville is assisting his family with the arrangements.

Rogene M. Buckoski

On Easter Sunday at sunset as the cardinals were singing, Rogene M. Buckoski was called home to heaven surrounded by her loving husband and children at the age of 86.

Rogene was born on Sept. 20, 1933, near Clintonville to Theodore and Mildred (Jarvais) Anderson. Rogene graduated from Clintonville High School in 1951.

On July 10, 1954, she was united in marriage to Leland “Lee” J. Buckoski at St. Rose Catholic Church in Clintonville. Rogene held various office positions at numerous companies, retiring from Albany International in 1991 after 17 years of service.

Julia M. Steber

Julia M. Steber, 87, of Clintonville, passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Julia was born on Feb. 20, 1933, to the late Hubert and Vera (Clark) Granger. She was united in marriage to Lee Demaskie, who preceded her in death in 1961. Julia later married Clayton Steber, who preceded her in death in 1987.

Julia enjoyed being outside in her garden, embroidering, and decorating for the holidays, Christmas was her favorite. She loved cooking big meals and feeding her family and friends. Julia loved her family dearly, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Thomas E. Litzow

Thomas E. “Tom” Litzow, 80, of Shawano, passed away Wednesday afternoon, April 15, 2020, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano.

Tom was born Dec. 22, 1939, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Dr. John and Florence (Wabiszewski) Litzow. He grew up in Stevens Point and, following high school graduation, attended Northwestern University. In 1961, Tom earned his Bachelor of Science in economics. He went on to earn his MBA from the Kellogg School of Business in 1964.

Agnes E. Buchert

Agnes E. Buchert, 99, of Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday morning, April 14, 2020, at home with her family by her side.

Agnes was born on Jan. 31, 1921, in the town of Belle Plaine, to the late August and Emma (Brandt) Schmidt. She attended the River Bank School in Embarrass through grade school. She went on to help out on the family farm. From there, Agnes was the primary caregiver for her sister’s son, Alvin. After Alvin passed away, Agnes worked as a seamstress. Later, she worked as a sales associate at Lauerman’s Department Store.

Judith E. Kline

Judith Eileen (Mann) Kline, 72, Cecil, passed away faithfully due to heart disease complications on Saturday, April 11, 2020.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Private family burial was at Forest Hill Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is assisting the family.
