Barbara Jean McKeefry, 71, of Pulaski, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2024, at home from a heart condition.

She was born on March 30, 1953, to Gordon and Marjorie (Peterman) Ainsworth at the Bonduel Clinic in Bonduel. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1971 and lived in the Pulaski area her whole life.

Karen Ann Ebert, 82, passed away suddenly on July 26, 2024, in Shawano.

She was born on Aug. 4, 1941, to the late Edmund and Florelda (Eckes) Kraemer in Stanley. Her parents were cheesemakers at a number of locations in Wisconsin, spending her early childhood in Rio Creek, later moving to Pulaski, where she graduated from high school. She was united in marriage to Lloyd “Lee” Anthony Ebert on Sept. 14, 1963, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Green Bay.

Troy Douglas Piotrowski, 53, died at 4:09 a.m. on July 23, 2024.

He was born on Oct. 28, 1970. He had a long battle with heart disease, diabetes and eventually liver failure.

He graduated from Mosinee High School, where he played basketball. He loved sports all his life. He played on pool leagues up until his last few months. He loved hunting and fishing.

James Charles ‘Jim’ Beitzel

James C. “Jim” Beitzel, passed away July 23, 2024. Jim was born to duck hunt and fish and did so with a passion until the end.

He was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Manitowoc, on the shores of Lake Michigan, where he fished trout and salmon from his 12-foot hand-painted camo duck boat. Jim graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Many mornings before school, he would go duck hunting with friends after which he would store his shotgun in his school locker. It sure was a different world 88 years ago.

Vernon G. Mortier, 92, Oconto Falls, died Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at an area hospital.

He was born July 19, 1932, in rural Oconto Falls to August and Theresa (Loberger) Mortier. When he was 4 years old, the family moved to rural Oconto where Vern graduated from Lena High School with the class of 1950. Following graduation, he attended vocational school in Milwaukee and worked as a machinist for three years.

Jerome Carl Perrault, 72, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

He was born Nov. 24, 1950, in White Earth, Minnesota, to the late Romaine and Bernice LaDoux Perrault. Jerry most grew up in Kenosha and graduated from high school in Kenosha. He had a longtime career with Chrysler Automotive.

Lorraine Marie Olson

It is with heavy hearts but gratitude for a life well lived that we announce the passing of Lorraine Marie Olson, 89, who died peacefully at home on July 22, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.

Lorraine was born June 20, 1935, in Oconto, to Rupert and Erma (Kruger) Rasmussen, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband, Russell, and brother, Allen Rasmussen.
