Summer road construction projects are underway in Shawano.
East Fifth Street from North Main Street to Hamlin Street is undergoing utility work and street reconstruction. East Fifth Street is now fully closed from Union Street to Hamlin Street.
Throughout June and until July 12, single blocks within the work zone will be fully closed for utility reconstruction progressing westerly. The entire work zone will be partially pulverized and on gravel until July 15 when full closure to through-traffic will begin until completion of the project in September.
