Gerald E. Ashenbrenner, 85, of Tigerton, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, at Evergreen Nursing Home in Shawano, under the care of his family and Theda Care Hospice.
Gerald was born June 3, 1934, in Pella, the son of the late Ernest and Ethel (Salzman) Ashenbrenner. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving from 1956 to 1959.
On Aug. 5, 1961, Gerald was united in marriage to Doris Kubicki at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She survives.
