Robert James Herrmann died on April 2, 2024, under the care of his family and LeRoyer Hospice. He was 89 years old.
He was born on June 3, 1934, in Red Springs, a son of the late Charles and Minnie (Loehrl) Herrmann. He married Judy Terrio on Oct. 12, 1957, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowler. She preceded him in death in December of 2017.
Robert graduated from Mattoon High School in 1952.
