Michael T. Thompson, 53, of Suring, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2020. Mike was born April 19, 1967, to the late Robert W. and Carol J. Thompson in Racine.

Mike is survived by his daughter, Allison Thompson (Fort Garland, Colorado); sister-in-law, Stephanie Thompson (Combined Locks). He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert W. and Carol J. Thompson; brother, Robert E. Thompson; grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Florence Hazel Schenkoski, 86, of Gillett, passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020. Florence was born Feb. 8, 1934, in the Town of Underhill to the late Albert and Margaret (Krause) Schutt. On Oct. 9, 1945, Florence married Bennie Schenkoski. They owned a farm in rural Gillett. Florence belonged to St. John Riverside Lutheran Church in Gillett. She was always there to help the ladies with their potato pancake dinner and help out where needed.

We are sad to announce the death of our mother, Betty Delzer Sosinske, 81, on Friday, Dec. 4, 2020, at her home at Emerald Bay Assisted Living in Hobart. She was born Aug. 15, 1939, to Harold and Irene (Van Ess) Wilson. On July 12, 1958, she married Hugo Delzer Jr., and they were married for 43 years until his death in 2001. Their marriage was an example of true love and devotion, and we were witnesses to that as they were often holding hands and showing affection to each other.

Richard “Chunky” Stein died Dec. 8 at his home from Sudden Cardiac Arrest. He was born Oct. 7, 1943, to the late Alfred and Muriel (McDonald) Stein. He lived his early years in Lena and moved to Oconto Falls where he graduated in 1961. At 17, he joined the Navy and served until his discharge in 1964. He married his high school sweetheart, Kathryn Zima, on May 7, 1966, in the Abrams United Methodist church. Dick worked for 35 years at Fort Howard Paper Company in Green Bay, retiring in 2000.
