St. Cloud State University

Pulaski High School graduate Jasmine Litt played in two games for the St. Cloud State women’s basketball team last week.

Litt posted 12 points, five rebounds and a steal across 20 minutes in a win over Minnesota-Crookston on Feb. 18. She played a minute in the team’s loss to Bemidji State on Feb. 16.

Wisconsin Lutheran College

Bonduel grad Kara Troxel started in both of the Wisconsin Lutheran College women’s basketball team’s games last week.

St. Martin’s University

Gresham Community High School graduate Christian Haffner helped the St. Martin’s men’s basketball team to a win over Western Oregon on Feb. 4.

Haffner played 16 minutes off the bench, tallying three points, two assists and a rebound.

Ripon College

Wittenberg-Birnamwood grad Lauren Bahr turned in strong finishes while representing the Ripon women’s swim team during a dual loss to UW-Oshkosh on Feb. 4.

UW-Stevens Point

Oconto Falls graduate Joe Adams, Menominee Indian graduate Guadalupe Corn and Pulaski graduate Lindsey Jossie all represented the UW-Stevens Point track and field teams during the Leonard “Squig” Converse Invitational on Jan. 27-28.

Adams competed in the men’s 5,000-meter run, placing sixth in 16 minutes, 37.08 seconds.

Corn placed 10th in the women’s weight throw (13.93 meters) and 14th in the shot put (10.85 meters).

Saginaw Valley State University

Shawano High School graduate Tori DePerry had a memorable week on the court and helped the Saginaw Valley State women’s basketball team to a pair of wins.

In a win over Ferris State on Jan. 19, DePerry posted 22 points, nine rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes.

DePerry had 14 points, four boards, three assists and one block across 26 minutes in a victory over Lake Superior State on Jan. 21. She reached 1,000 points for her college career on a layup early in the contest.

Bemidji State University

Shawano Community High School graduate Brooke Theis played a combined 44 minutes across a pair of Bemidji State women’s basketball games last week.

In a loss to St. Cloud State on Dec. 1, Theis posted two points, two rebounds and a steal across 22 minutes. In a loss to Minnesota-Duluth on Dec. 3, Theis recorded two points, four rebounds and one assist across 20 minutes.

Northern Michigan University

UW-La Crosse

Pulaski High School graduate Maggie Hernandez assisted on a goal during the UW-La Crosse women’s soccer team’s season-ending loss to Virginia Wesleyan on Nov. 19.

The UWL goal came in the 60th minute, but the team didn’t score again and lost 2-1 in the third round of the NCAA Division III Championship.

Bemidji State University

Shawano grad Brooke Theis continued to start at the start of her freshman season for the Bemidji State women’s basketball team. The team went 1-2 in games between Nov. 22-26.

UW-River Falls

Shawano Community High School graduates Gage and Crede Timm both played in the UW-River Falls football team’s win over UW-Stout on Nov. 12.

Gage Timm was credited with one solo tackle. Crede Timm punted four times for a combined 138 yards, also pinning Stout inside its 20-yard line twice.

Saginaw Valley State University

Shawano grad Tori DePerry got her senior season with the Saginaw Valley State women’s basketball team off to a strong start with a pair of strong games last week.

Ripon College

Gillett Secondary School graduate Angela Mosconi helped the Ripon women’s cross-country team to a Midwest Conference title on Oct. 29.

The freshman runner completed the Midwest Conference Championship course in 23 minutes, 49.32 seconds to place ninth. Ripon tallied 34 points to edge Grinnell for the title.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood graduate Lauren Bahr earned three strong finishes during the Ripon women’s swim team’s dual loss to Lawrence on Oct. 22.

Carroll University

Pulaski High School graduate Jake Binkowski recorded three total tackles in the Carroll University football team’s win over Elmhurst on Oct. 15.

Binkowski had one solo tackle and two assisted tackles. He also broke up a pass.

UW-La Crosse

Pulaski grad Maggie Hernandez turned in a couple strong performances to help the UW-La Crosse women’s soccer team to two wins last week.

In a 5-0 win over Luther on Oct. 12, Hernandez was credited with two assists. Two of her three shots were on goal.

St. Norbert College

Lena graduate Kennedy Marquardt and Oconto Falls graduate Emily Gonnering each competed in one event for the St. Norbert women’s track and field team at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge on Feb. 19.

Marquardt helped the 4x400-meter relay team to a first-place finish in 4 minutes, 1.41 seconds. Gonnering took 36th in the weight throw with a long toss of 12.18 meters.
