St. Mary’s University of Minnesota

Shawano Community High School graduate Peyton Buerman played a singles and doubles match during the St. Mary’s University women’s tennis team’s dual loss to St. Olaf on March 11.

Buerman and No. 3 doubles partner Kara Hand lost an 8-5 match. Buerman fell 6-0, 7-5 in No. 5 singles action.

College of Lake County

Pulaski grad Logan Hochevar and Menominee Indian grad Jamison Besaw each played for the College of Lake County baseball team last week.

Wisconsin Lutheran College

Pulaski High School graduate Connor Heezen earned a pair of wins for the Wisconsin Lutheran College men’s tennis team’s dual win over Lawrence on Feb. 25.

Heezen and No. 3 doubles partner Matt Bass won 8-5. Heezen also claimed a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles.

Pulaski grad Trevor Stiede played in both of the WLC men’s basketball team’s conference tournament games last week.

St. Cloud State University

Pulaski High School graduate Jasmine Litt played in two games for the St. Cloud State women’s basketball team last week.

Litt posted 12 points, five rebounds and a steal across 20 minutes in a win over Minnesota-Crookston on Feb. 18. She played a minute in the team’s loss to Bemidji State on Feb. 16.

Wisconsin Lutheran College

Bonduel grad Kara Troxel started in both of the Wisconsin Lutheran College women’s basketball team’s games last week.

Ripon College

Gillett Secondary School graduate Angela Mosconi turned in a fourth-place finish in the women’s 5,000-meter run while representing the Ripon track and field team at the Dick Hendricks Invite on Feb. 11.

Mosconi completed the race in 20 minutes, 4.09 seconds.

St. Cloud State University

Pulaski grad Jasmine Litt played in both of the St. Cloud State women’s basketball team’s games last week.

St. Martin’s University

Gresham Community High School graduate Christian Haffner helped the St. Martin’s men’s basketball team to a win over Western Oregon on Feb. 4.

Haffner played 16 minutes off the bench, tallying three points, two assists and a rebound.

Ripon College

Wittenberg-Birnamwood grad Lauren Bahr turned in strong finishes while representing the Ripon women’s swim team during a dual loss to UW-Oshkosh on Feb. 4.

UW-Stevens Point

Oconto Falls graduate Joe Adams, Menominee Indian graduate Guadalupe Corn and Pulaski graduate Lindsey Jossie all represented the UW-Stevens Point track and field teams during the Leonard “Squig” Converse Invitational on Jan. 27-28.

Adams competed in the men’s 5,000-meter run, placing sixth in 16 minutes, 37.08 seconds.

Corn placed 10th in the women’s weight throw (13.93 meters) and 14th in the shot put (10.85 meters).

Saginaw Valley State University

Shawano High School graduate Tori DePerry had a memorable week on the court and helped the Saginaw Valley State women’s basketball team to a pair of wins.

In a win over Ferris State on Jan. 19, DePerry posted 22 points, nine rebounds, one assist and one steal across 31 minutes.

DePerry had 14 points, four boards, three assists and one block across 26 minutes in a victory over Lake Superior State on Jan. 21. She reached 1,000 points for her college career on a layup early in the contest.

Cardinal Stritch University

Gillett Secondary School graduate Aubrey DeBauch played 20-plus minutes in each of the Cardinal Stritch women’s basketball team’s games last week.

In a win over Calumet on Jan. 11, DeBauch tallied 10 points, 14 rebounds and two assists across 21 minutes played.

DeBauch played 25 minutes in the team’s loss to Holy Cross on Jan. 14, tallying seven points, four boards, one block and one assist for her team.

Saginaw Valley State University

Shawano Community High School graduate Tori DePerry had a big week on the court for the Saginaw Valley State women’s basketball team.

In a loss to Michigan Tech on Jan. 5, DePerry tallied 31 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a steal across 34 minutes. She hit 11 field goals and eight free throws.

DePerry totaled 18 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and an assist across 34 minutes in a loss to Northern Michigan on Jan. 7.

UW-Parkside

Pulaski High School graduate Sheridan Flauger started and played 29 minutes for the UW-Parkside women’s basketball team in its win over Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 31.

Flauger tallied 13 points, two rebounds, three steals and two assists in her time on the court. She made four field goals, including three 3-pointers, and a pair of free throws.
