The whole intent was to get soaked, and participants in the annual Bamboo Bar boat sinking accomplished that Sunday afternoon at the bar’s location on the south shore of Shawano Lake. The Bucket List family team took first place, $160; the Hot Ladies took the $100 second place prize and the Little Richards took third for $45. Teams of five completed in an effort to sink their opponent’s aluminum row boats. The event has been cooling off boaters since the 1980s.
