Music by the River schedule announced

The Oconto Falls City Council has given the go-ahead for the annual Music by the River series of concerts at East Side Beach. Gail Yatso, president of the Oconto Falls Area Chamber of Commerce, told the council March 8 that the organization has again made arrangements to rent the Copperfest trailer for the sunset concert series, which runs 6-9 p.m. on the last Fridays of June, July and August. The schedule is set, with the S2C Band (also known as Subject 2 Change Band) on tap for June 24, The Bad Mother Truckers scheduled for July 22 and the Adam Trask Band wrapping up the season Aug. 26. Food vendors led by Riverview BP will have a variety of menu items, adult malt beverages “and, of course, perfect weather,” Yatso promised. The council unanimously approved giving the chamber permission to use the beach on those dates.
