Nearly $200,000 in War Bonds have been bought in Shawano County.
All farmers in the Wittenberg area interested in a repair course are urged to attend a meeting in the agriculture building Monday evening. Raymond Krueger, of the school faculty, will be in charge of the course.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Congregation passed a resolution to resume its Christian day school, which it discontinued some years ago. School is scheduled to open early September. Classes will then be organized from the eighth grade down.

The Village Board on Monday evening passed a resolution for the stricter enforcement of quarantine rules. Move that the health officer shall notify the village marshal at once as soon as he has quarantined any person or family within the village, and that the village marshal shall notify such person or family that he will at once arrest any person or persons found breaking such quarantine.
