Dr. Marvin Olson, Wittenberg, has been named chairman for Wisconsin of the World Medical Association.

Walter Haupt leased his gas station on Highway 29 and 45 to Webb Oil Company. Elmer Crowell named as manager.

Over 1,500 people attend Diamond Jubilee at Homme Home for Boys. Sunday morning service featured a solo by David Peterson and music by organist Sylvia Peterson. Afternoon program was led by alumni, employees and friends of Homme Orphan’s Home. Memorial service at Rev. E.J. Homme’s graveside at First Lutheran Church. Reunion of 200 former residents was held at Bible Camp on Crooked Lake.

Rew Motors in Birnamwood now carries Ford tractors.

Ad for Moody’s Rexall Drug Store has bobby pins for 19 cents, Anacin 98 cents and cameras $4.49 to $24.95.
