Walls of Wittenberg presents the seventh annual “Emerging Talent” showcase exhibit of artwork by students in Wittenberg-Birnamwood schools, opening Saturday, May 29, in the WOWSPACE Gallery, 114 Vinal St., Wittenberg.

This show will feature about 100 pieces of artwork including kindergarten through high school from Witt-Birn School District’s students. The gallery is scheduled to be open 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through June 13, the last weekend coinciding with Wittenberg Community Days.

“We are lucky to have three very talented and dedicated art teachers, Naomi Engelke, Diana Wendler, and Keven Brunett, who are not only able to teach art, but also able to inspire their students and bring out surprising and fun creativity, even in spite of the Covid-19 craziness for both the teachers and students this year,” said Elaine Diffor, WOW volunteer. “The talent in our district is amazing and the arts should not be overlooked.”

Families, friends, and communities are encouraged to attend to support and recognize the students and their achievements in the arts, Diffor said.
