Winter Whirl returns to Clintonville

CLINTONVILLE — The annual Winter Whirl sponsored by the Clintonville Parks and Recreation Department will be held Jan. 18 at Memory Lanes Bar and Grill, 250 County Road I, Clintonville.

“Donations are still being accepted for the event, and sponsors will be recognized at the event and on the Facebook page,” said Justin McAuly, park and recreation director.

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the 31st Annual Tummy Warmer Cook-off will be held. There will be activities for the kids, and vendors during that time.

At 11 a.m. there will be music by ”Grayling — A One Man Band.”

Bowling specials and food specials will be available from noon until 5 p.m.

From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the third annual cornhole tourney, doubles, and double elimination will be held. The fee is $20 per team and 100% will be given back in cash prizes. To register, contact McAuly at 715-823-7660.

Live music will be furnished by Remington’s Ride with no cover charge during the cornhole tournament, and there will be no cover charge for the live music by “Wasted Stay” from 8 p.m. until midnight.
