Vets 4 Vets of Northeast Wisconsin is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Suring and made up of veterans and non-veterans. The group fundraises to provide direct support to enrich the lives of veterans in Northeast Wisconsin and also contributes to local veterans service and support agencies.

The group held its annual Veterans Days spaghetti dinner as a drive-through event because of COVID-19 concerns. Students and staff from Suring High School teamed up with local volunteers, Vets 4 Vets members, and Red Maple Country Club executive chef Gary Noffke to serve 88 free “to-go” spaghetti dinners to local veterans.

Greeting cards handmade by Suring School students and a local 4-H Club, along with information on viewing a special Veterans Day thank you message from Suring Schools, were given to all veterans as they picked up their dinners. A total of 240 spaghetti dinners, including homemade desserts donated by community volunteers, were picked up curbside at the country club. Every veteran also received a $25 gift card for a local grocery store, and in addition five lucky veterans won a $100 grocery gift card, provided by the Vets 4 Vets organization.
