Van Steenhouse to talk about surviving bear attack

The Bear Man, Jim Van Steenhouse, and his wife, Liz, will be speaking during the 10 a.m. service Jan. 28 at Hillside Assembly, 5890 State Highway 22, Gillett.

Van Steenhouse will share his story about a bear attack that nearly took his life while on an archery moose hunt. After this attack, Van Steenhouse and his wife faced some insurmountable marriage difficulties that his new faith in Christ enabled them to overcome. Their testimony has helped hundreds of couples to have a better marriage and find freedom and restoration in Christ. They started a marriage healing work they call Rough Roads Marriage.
