Suring 38

Gillett 0

Suring blanked Gillett in an 8-man clash on Friday in Suring. After a scoreless first quarter, Suring erupted for 30 second-quarter points.

Taron Haak rushed for a pair of touchdowns for Suring, while Jeremy Hensel added another rushing score. Gavin Fredenburgh led the way with 110 rushing yards, while Hensel had 84.

Hensel also returned an interception for a touchdown, and Fredenburgh returned a punt for another score.

Coleman 28

Oconto Falls 6

Oconto Falls fell short in a Northwoods Conference clash against Coleman on Friday in Coleman.

Oconto Falls trailed 16-0 at halftime.

Wausaukee 34

Lena/STAA 18

The Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy dropped a high-scoring clash to Wausaukee on Friday in Lena.

Logan Shallow accounted for all three of the co-op's touchdowns. He threw for 158 yards and a pair of scores, while also rushing for 63 yards and a touchdown.

Lane Whiting had four receptions for 76 yards and a score, while Ethan Russell caught two passes for 82 yards and the other touchdown.
