Gillett 3

STAA 1

Gillett rallied from a set down to top St. Thomas Aquinas Academy in a Marinette & Oconto Conference match in Gillett on Tuesday. The Tigers won by scores of 22-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-20.

Grace Wickman posted 11 attack kills and two blocks for Gillett, while Sophie Horsens had 10 attack kills, 11 assists and three aces. Aubrey DeBauch chipped in five attack kills.

Gillett's Annie Kohls served three aces and had nine digs, while Emily Umentum served three aces and led the team with 17 assists. Naomi Anker contributed nine digs, while Brianna DeBauch and Karissa Schaal had five each. KayLee Huebner tallied five assists.

Coleman 3

Suring 1

Suring came up short in a M&O match against Coleman in Suring on Tuesday. Coleman won by scores of 25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 25-15.

Stephanie Huth led Suring with 10 total kills and 17 digs, while Jaden Bubolz tallied 11 digs, nine assists and five aces. Kate Mahoney finished with 12 digs, nine assists and four aces.

Suring’s Kelsey Smith contributed seven total kills and nine digs, while Paige Krueger had eight digs and four attack kills. Cher Whiting and Trinity Remic were credited with six digs apiece.
