BOYS BASKETBALL

Gillett 48

Crandon 46

Gillett edged Crandon in a nonconference battle on Jan. 16 in Gillett. The Tigers rallied from a three-point halftime deficit.

Ben Matczak hit three 3-pointers and led Gillett with 13 points. Brandon DeBauch added 12 points.

Austin VandeCorput posted eight points for the Tigers, while Aydin Franti had seven.

Gillett came up short in a nonconference clash with Crandon on Jan. 16 in Gillett.

Macy Franti tallied 11 points to lead Gillett, while Aubrey DeBauch scored 10.

Carleigh Kaczmarek chipped in nine points for Gillett, which trailed 26-25 at halftime.
