Suring 49

Niagara 39

Suring topped Niagara in a Marinette & Oconto Conference clash on Jan. 11 in Niagara.

Kate Mahoney scored 15 points to lead Suring on the offensive end. She knocked down five 3-pointers. Kylee Stelzer contributed 12 points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Eagles.

Kelsey Smith recorded 15 rebounds and seven points for Suring. Christine Sleeter grabbed 13 rebounds and had two blocks.

"We rebounded very well tonight and were very unselfish offensively. Our defense was terrific," said Suring coach Mitchell Woulf. "This was a great win for us against a very good team at their place."

Gillett 57

Wausaukee 28

Gillett dominated Wausaukee in a M&O matchup on Jan. 11 in Gillett.

Carleigh Kaczmarek scored 14 first-half points to power Gillett. Aubrey DeBauch chipped in 12 points.

Karissa Schaal tallied 10 points for the Tigers, while Macy Franti chipped in seven points.

Crivitz 59

Lena 50

Lena came up short in its M&O battle with Crivitz on Jan. 11 in Lena.

Only four Wildcat players scored in the contest. Chaela Rabas hit four 3-pointers and led the team with 17 points, while Natalie McNurlen connected on three triples and had 16 points.

Kennedy Marquardt tallied 11 points for Lena. Alissa Wenzel had the team's other six points.
