Fox Valley Lutheran 45, Oconto Falls 14

Oconto Falls could not slow Fox Valley Lutheran in the first half of a North Eastern Conference matchup on Friday. FVL scored 38 points in the first half and went on to spoil Oconto Falls’ homecoming game.

Oconto Falls scored both of its touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Mitchell Manns busted free for an 80-yard rushing touchdown to get the Panthers on the scoreboard before Joey Walters hit Jarod Parsons for a 15-yard touchdown pass.

Manns also recovered a fumble in the first half, while Garrett Vervelde intercepted a pass in the fourth quarter.

Oconto Falls fell to 0-5 overall and in the NEC.

Suring 22, Wabeno/Laona 6

Suring took down Wabeno/Laona in MONLPC-8 action in Wabeno on Friday. The Eagles improved to 4-1 and won their second straight.

Logan Stuart rushed for 223 yards and a touchdown to lead Suring, which had 300 rushing yards. Stuart also tallied 12 total tackles to lead the defense, while Dequez Sepulveda had eight total tackles and a sack. Jayden Geniesse scored the team’s other two touchdowns, both on the ground.

Geniesse scored in the second quarter for the game’s first points and again in the fourth quarter to give the Eagles some breathing room. Stuart scored to make it 22-0 before Wabeno/Laona returned the ensuing kickoff for its lone score.

Florence 52, Gillett 6

Gillett could not slow Florence in a MONLPC-8 matchup in Florence on Friday. The loss dropped Gillett to 2-3 overall.

Colton Wolfe caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Derek Block for the lone Gillett touchdown in the second quarter. The Tigers were outgained 405-129.

Logan Block rushed for 56 yards for Gillett, while Wyatt Herzog hauled in a 31-yard pass.

Three Lakes 57, Lena/STAA 18

The Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy co-op could not slow Three Lakes in Lena on Friday.

Lena/STAA fell to 0-5 overall.
