Suring 70, Three Lakes 24

Suring earned a lopsided nonconference win over Three Lakes on Thursday to cap its regular season with an 8-1 overall record. Suring scored 22 first-half points and led 54-8 at halftime.

Suring earned a No. 2 seed in the 16-team playoff bracket for 8-man. The Eagles will host third-seeded Gibraltar on Friday. Gibraltar handed Suring its lone loss (43-24 on Sept. 6).

Logan Stuart powered the Eagles with 249 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Kegyn Lambrecht added 77 rushing yards and two scores. Duncan Breed, Chad McVeigh and Jeremy Hensel scored a rushing touchdown each.

Jayden Geniesse connected for a 34-yard touchdown pass with Dequez Sepulveda for Suring’s other score.

Oconto Falls 26, Clintonville 13

Oconto Falls doubled up Clintonville in a North Eastern Conference matchup in Clintonville on Friday. It marked the second straight win for Oconto Falls, which finished the regular season 2-7 overall and 2-6 in NEC play.

Mitchell Manns led the Panthers on the field, catching a 99-yard touchdown pass from Joey Walters and also rushing for 62 yards. Manns also led the defense with 10 total tackles.

Walters finished with 154 passing yards and intercepted a pass on defense. Owen Huber rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns, while Wyatt Borkovec scored the team's first touchdown.

Tucker Bouche finished with seven total tackles and also picked off a pass for the Panthers. Adam Haines registered a sack, while Garrett Vervelde tallied six total tackles.

Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran co-op 26, Gillett 23

Gillett came up just short in a MONLPC-8 home loss to the Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran co-op on Friday. Gillett finished the regular season with a 2-7 overall record and 2-6 mark in the MONLPC-8.

Derek Block threw for 146 yards and two touchdowns to lead Gillett on the field. Anthony Carroll hauled in eight passes for 92 yards and a touchdown, while Logan Block caught the other touchdown.

Andy Lemens put Gillett on the scoreboard with a 2-yard rushing touchdown in the first quarter. The co-op scored the next 20 points.

Carroll also led Gillett on the ground, accumulating 62 rushing yards on 15 carries. He also tied Derek Block with a team-high eight tackles on defense.

Florence 62, Lena/STAA 6

Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy dropped its season finale on the road to MONLPC-8 foe Florence on Friday.

Lena/STAA went 0-9 for the season and 0-8 in conference play.
