UW-Eau Claire

Suring graduate Mitch Stegeman competed in the heptathlon for the UW-Eau Claire men's track and field team at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in Oshkosh on Feb. 28 and 29 in Oshkosh. Stegeman took seventh with 4,685 total points.

The freshman placed second in the 1,000-meter run with a time of 2 minutes, 48.19 seconds. He came in third in the pole vault after clearing 14 feet, 9.5 inches. Stegeman claimed seventh in the high jump (6-0.75).

Stegeman also took 12th in the 60 hurdles (9.15), 13th in the shot put (33-10) and 17th in the 60 (7.58) and long jump (19-4).

Carroll University

Oconto Falls graduate Aaron Kurth turned in a pair of top-five finishes for the Carroll University men's track and field team at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Indoor Championships on Feb. 28 and 29 in Bloomington, Illinois.

Kurth posted a time of 7.01 seconds in the 60 prelims to qualify for the finals, where he took fourth in 7.0 seconds.

Kurth claimed fifth in the 200 with a time of 22.7 seconds.

Ripon

Suring graduate Ryan Mahoney played and contributed in one of the Ripon men's basketball team's Midwest Conference Tournament wins. Ripon went on to win the tournament to qualify for the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Mahoney played two minutes and converted his lone field goal attempt in the team's 82-51 win over Lake Forest College on Feb. 28.

UW-Platteville

Oconto Falls graduate Catt Moeller placed 19th in the pole vault for the UW-Platteville women's track and field team at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in Oshkosh.

Moeller cleared a height of 9-9.25.

UW-River Falls

Oconto Falls graduate Brent Wolf took 21st in the 60 dash while competing for the UW-River Falls men's track and field team at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships in Oshkosh.

Wolf posted a time of 8.31 seconds.
